With the latest Apple TV software and Airfoil, you can send audio to your Apple TV too! Open Airfoil and your Apple TV will show up in the list of available outputs, ready and waiting for your audio. Just click the Transmit button and Airfoil will send audio to the Apple TV!

She cried "More, more, more"
As if sending to AirPort Express and Apple TV units isn't enough, there's still more. Using our complimentary Airfoil Speakers application, included with Airfoil, you can also send any audio to other Macs and PCs on your local network. Just run Airfoil Speakers on other machines on your network, and they'll show up in Airfoil, ready to receive audio. Click the Transmit button and suddenly you're playing your music out through another computer.

It ain't no lie, baby, bye bye bye
Airfoil can send any audio to one or more AirPort Express units, and play the audio in sync. It can send audio to other local Macs running Airfoil Speakers, and play it in sync. And Airfoil can even play the audio locally, in sync. Put simply, wherever and however you play audio from Airfoil, it all plays in sync. Try it out and you'll be amazed.

Pictures came and broke your heart
Airfoil has always been great for sending any audio to the AirPort Express, but the hardware itself buffers audio for several seconds before playing it. This made it impossible to use Airfoil with video sources, because the video would play back locally well ahead of remote audio. Airfoil Video Player, part of Airfoil 3, aims to change all that.

With Airfoil Video Player, you can watch video on your Mac and send the audio to your remote AirPort Express, and have it all play in perfect sync. Try it out - Airfoil Video Player offers support for dozens of video formats, including all formats supported natively by QuickTime Player, by the Perian plug-in, and by any additional plug-ins you've installed, including Flip4Mac for WMV support. Airfoil Video Player also features preliminary support for DVD playback!

Anything you want, you got it
The AirPort Express is great because it makes it easy to send iTunes audio to your stereo system. Airfoil is designed to enable you to send any audio out, not just iTunes. Use Airfoil with audio from media players like RealPlayer or QuickTime. Use it with hardware audio devices like Griffin's AM/FM RadioShark, or any other input. Send audio from web-based players like Pandora, Last.fm, XM.com, or Sirius.com. There really is no limit to the audio you can send to your AirPort Express.
