There's not really anything else we can do - the OS controls it. Moz: We'll see what happens. Adam: Android is interesting, but it's not a place we have any experience. Have you considered creating a Sonos alternative?
Using a dedicated computer, airport express and airfoil.

The thing I like about the sonos is the ability to control all musical content via iphone.

Downloaded the trial and i am hugely impressed but the sounds lag when played through VLC and didn’t transmit when played through the airfoil app. I will buy it if I get help with these issues.

How about looking more at the Android platform to continue to work on mobile platforms? There’s a lot that could be done there!

Cheers to you and your hard work. I would pay for a remote to control airfoil in my house, which speaker to play through controlling the volume. I think you need to be compensated for your hardwork, we will pay for great products.

Thanks for the link. I’m aware of how to remove apps from the recently used tray in order to force them to quit. I suppose I was hoping that I wouldn’t need to do that, and that there would be an easy way to switch out of Airfoil while ensuring that it stops consuming resources.

So with Airfoil Speakers Touch 1.1, how will you actually quit the app? I like the idea of being able to stream audio in the background, but I want to make sure it doesn’t suck up battery if I actually want to exit the app rather than put it in the background.

I understand your dislike for the App Store, but a well built audio recording app that works with external mics of some kind or a line in of some kind and records to the built in memory would be an excellent product. If there is anyone who could pull it off it would be you guys.
