One of the most popular uses of Audio Hijack is to capture audio from voice chat (or VoIP) applications like Zoom or FaceTime. Audio Hijack features automatic support for recording from dozens of different voice chat applications. When any supported voice chat app is selected as the source, Audio Hijack records both halves of the conversation without any additional configuration required.
The following applications are automatically supported for voice chat recording in Audio Hijack:
If the voice chat application you’re using is not listed above, please let us know! We frequently add support for new VoIP apps.
If your desired voice chat application is not included in the list above, you can still record both sides of a conversation in it by manually adjusting the Advanced settings of Audio Hijack’s Application block. The “Default audio capture behaviors” section of this article provides details on the settings that will need to be enabled.
