Entering your Mac’s administrator password

Loopback’s audio handling functionality is powered by the Audio Routing Kit (ARK) plugin, which must be installed to use Loopback. To install or update the ARK plugin, you’ll be prompted to enter your Mac’s administrator password.

This administrator password is set by you, and used to log in to the administrator account on your Mac, as well as to access various settings in the System Settings application. Note that this password is not something Rogue Amoeba knows.
